​Artisan Terms and Conditions

​

General Terms

  1. Digital Proofs

    • We send digital proofs before printing. Please review and confirm that all details (artwork, spelling, quantity, stock, size, etc.) are correct.

    • Once approved, orders cannot be canceled. Our process is automated, and production begins immediately after payment and approval.

    • IMPORTANT: Artisan will not begin production on any job until payment is received in full and digital proof approval is submitted.

    • Artisan is not responsible for errors or omissions on approved proofs, including but not limited to spelling, design placement, and size specifications.

  2. Payment Terms

    • Payment must be made in full before production begins. We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, and other methods specified in your invoice.

    • Quotes are valid for 7 days from the quote date and are subject to change upon review of final artwork.

  3. Refund Policy

    • Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final. No refunds are provided once payment is made and production begins.

    • Clients are encouraged to carefully review proofs, samples, and order details before final approval.

  4. Force Majeure Clause

    • Artisan is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, or disruptions in transportation or supply chains.

  5. Marketing Use of Products

    • Artisan reserves the right to use images of completed products for marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Clients may opt out by providing written notice before production.

  6. Indemnification Clause

    • The client agrees to indemnify and hold Artisan harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the products, including but not limited to claims of trademark or copyright infringement.

  7. Limitation of Liability

    • Artisan’s liability is limited to the cost of the goods sold. Under no circumstances will Artisan be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Proofing and Artwork

  1. Artwork Requirements

    • Preferred formats: Ai (Adobe Illustrator) or EPS files, which allow for resizing without compromising print quality.

    • Acceptable formats: High-resolution PNG, JPG, or PSD. If these require conversion to vector format, a graphic design fee will apply.

    • Clients must provide artwork at the desired size (in millimeters). Poor-quality artwork may result in additional charges and delayed production.

  2. Mock-Ups

    • Proofs are approximations and not 100% to scale. Mock-ups provide visual references only. Actual measurements are listed separately and should be used for visualization.

    • Changes to mock-ups after approval will incur additional fees.

  3. Pantone Matching

  • We match colors as closely as possible. Due to fabric and environmental factors, slight variations are expected and considered acceptable.

Production and Delivery

  1. Production Timeline

  • Standard turnaround is 7–10 business days from proof approval and payment. Delays caused by incomplete information or approvals are not the responsibility of Artisan.

  1. Sampling and Manufacturing Requirements

  • Clients must provide complete and clear tech packs. Artisan is not obligated to request missing details.

  • All unclear notes are subject to interpretation by our team at the client’s risk.

  • Replacement samples will only be provided if the original is defective.

  • Clients who proceed without reviewing a sample assume full responsibility for any dissatisfaction related to quality, design, or fit. Refunds or reprints will not be provided in such cases.

  1. Defects and Tolerances

  • Clients accept a 5% margin for non-serious defects and color variations.

  • Measurement deviations within 2 cm tolerance are not considered defects.

  • Variations in color intensity or minor marks due to washing and distressing processes are normal and not classified as defects.

  • Clients must inspect their order upon delivery and report any defects or issues within 48 hours. Claims made beyond this time frame will not be eligible for refunds or replacements.

  1. Shipping and Delivery

  • Artisan is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers or incorrect shipping details provided by the client.

  • Clients must inspect orders upon delivery and report any issues within 48 hours. After this period, Artisan is not responsible for order errors.

Intellectual Property

  1. Copyright and Design Usage

  • Any designs, artwork, or intellectual property created by Artisan for a client remain the sole property of Artisan.

  • Artisan retains full copyright to these designs and reserves the right to reuse, modify, or repurpose them for future projects or clients.

  • Clients are granted a limited, non-exclusive right to use the designs solely for the agreed-upon project.

Pricing

  1. Pricing and Quotes

  • Prices vary based on design complexity, materials, and production volume.

  • Final production prices are established after sampling and confirmation of order quantity.

  1. Deposit Fees

  • A deposit fee is charged to cover fabric sourcing and secure availability in our production schedule. This fee is deducted from the final production cost.
